New customs tariff number for VITROVEX glass products

As the rules for the classification of customs tariff numbers have changed in some areas, we have been requested by the German authorities to apply for a binding tariff information at the German Customs for our VITROVEX products.

As a result, we have been assigned the new customs tariff number (HS Code) 9015 9000. The number stands for <parts and accessories for instruments and appliances used in geodesy, topography, photogrammetrical surveying, hydrography, oceanography, hydrology, meteorology or geophysics, and for rangefinders, n.e.s.>

As of April 1st, 2019 we will issue all our relevant documents with this new customs tariff number 9015 900.

We kindly ask you to pay attention to any potential adjustments on your end concerning the import of VITROVEX products reflecting this new HS code.
